A talk that switches people back on.

For teams, events and gatherings that want more than a pleasant hour: a talk about presence and energy, from the same work I do in coaching.

What you get

A talk you still feel once everyone's back outside.

I take complex material and make it simple: a clear, structured story people walk away with and can act on. And I bring doing and thinking together with feeling, so people feel and practice a lesson in the room itself, not just hear it.

The talk

A story about presence, energy and coming back to your body as a compass. It taps into something everyone recognises: wanting to be fully switched on in what you do, with context and inspiration to get closer to that.

Optional: an exercise

On request, a practical exercise, like a grounding exercise or a moment of real stillness. Some occasions prefer just the story, that works too.

Workshops too

Alongside talks, I also give workshops, rooted in the same principles as coaching, meant to inspire people to show up differently in their work. Location and format I tailor to the occasion.

Topics

My top topics.

  • Aliveness at work: from a team that's just running to a team that's actually there
  • Why "functioning well" isn't the same as feeling good
  • Coming back to your body as a compass, instead of just your head
  • From autopilot to a team that gives energy and gets it back

If your topic isn't listed, just ask. Most talks I tailor to what's actually going on with you.

Beyond a talk

Some organisations build a culture of energy around this.

Most organisations still measure success mainly in output: more, faster, further. But there's a second layer that matters just as much. Do people feel energy in their work, are they actually there, do they still feel why they're doing it? Organisations that take that seriously find it adds to the result instead of costing it. You'll recognise it in:

  • Success that also counts how people feel: energised, engaged, connected to a sense of purpose
  • Trust and self-leadership instead of control and rigid hierarchy
  • Room for personal energy peaks: a meeting, break or location that fits the moment
  • Rest as a built-in part of good work, not an exception

It's also the most practical form of burnout prevention I know: people learning to regulate themselves in time, before things go wrong. This can start with a talk or workshop. If you want your organisation or team to tackle this more structurally, I'm happy to think it through at that level too: a longer engagement around culture and energy, rather than a one-off moment.

Questions

What people often want to know.

How long does a talk take?
I tailor that to the occasion: from a short 20-minute moment of inspiration to a 45-minute talk with room for an exercise and questions. Want more depth? It can also become a workshop of an hour or two.
Does this work online too?
Yes. I adapt the exercises so they work well digitally or at a distance too.
What does it cost?
That depends on the format, length and location. Get in touch with a short outline of the occasion and I'll send a proposal.
Is this the same as coaching?
No. A talk inspires and gives a first feel for what this work is like. If you'd like to talk further afterwards about coaching within your organisation, for one employee or more broadly, that's possible, but it's a separate conversation, not a required next step.
